Cuck stories share their premise with Hotwife and almost nothing else. The difference is whose phone the reader is holding. Here the point of view stays with the person receiving the messages, which means the story is made of waiting, and the writer’s problem is how to keep a thread alive when one side of it can only respond.

The ones that work solve it structurally. Read receipts, a reply that takes two hours, a photograph sent with no caption — these carry the plot precisely because the narrator cannot act. It is a genre of imposed passivity, and cuckold text stories are one of the few places where the format’s enforced one-message-at-a-time pacing is the emotional content rather than a constraint on it.

Around two hundred stories, four to five chapters each. The category runs from lightly teasing to genuinely bleak, and the ratings separate the two more reliably than the titles do — worth sorting by rating before committing to a serial.
