Sorry for the boring question, but how do you deal with copyright and images in your stories?

If you use images from another Redditor, do you always ask them beforehand if you can use those images? If not, have they ever contacted you to remove the post?

I’m interested to start writing but I’m worried about potential problems related to copyright
